'Gloves to Love' is my theme for this Valentine's day.
Starting with a plain glove pattern and Culross Yarn Selection Box, there is a wealth of simple Fair Isle patterns or stripes that can make your gloves unique. I decided my Left and Right hand gloves would be quite different.
Alternate colour stitches in one row can be really effective and good practice if you are starting with colour work knitting.
For my right hand glove I used a section of the Betty Hat Pattern and new colour contrasts.
Traditional Fair Isle uses only 2 colours in any one round so the technique is very simple and infinitely variable.
Here is just one example of the selection box colours. The selection does change from time to time.
I hope you have fun experimenting after all - what's not to love.
