Sparkles was the first lamb born at Balgownie. The first born of Barbara's first set of triplets so quite special. As the triplets, Sparkles, Lara and Clara grew we realised they were a little different to the other lambs, they developed little horns and they were finer boned than the rest. They were, and still are very friendly. Their fleece felt Shetlandy too, so some sheepy fairy godmother had delivered just what we wanted from this genetic pool.
