Blooming Stitches

Flowers and tress bloom, but did you know that woollen stitches can bloom too?

In the photos I hope you can see the difference between the knitted fabric before and after wet blocking. The top left shows the fabric as it appears as you knit - straight off the needles, before blocking - the stitches are quite separated from each other, they're not really holding hands yet. Whereas, in the photos in the top right and bottom left the stitches have bloomed out to form a coherent fabric.

Culross Yarn will bloom beautifully, and whatismore, as the years go by and you wear it and wash it, it will continue to bloom and become even more beautiful.
